Dr Raymond Kwong Dr Kwong was appointed Group Managing Director on 1 November 2005. Prior to that, he was a Non-Executive Director from 20 August 2004. Dr Kwong was the Managing Director of Silverlake Corporation and Connectif Commerce Sdn Bhd (both were under Silverlake Group) from 2001 to December 2003 and October 2005, respectively, where he led the successful implementation of several key SIBS customer transformation projects. Prior to joining the Silverlake Group, he was a Partner/Vice President of Ernst & Young Global Consulting and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young for 11 years from 1989 to 2000. He was the Senior Manager and Head of IT Consulting for Coopers & Lybrand (South East Asia) from 1984 to 1989. He started his professional career as a Senior Systems Analyst for Pacific Power (Australia) from 1979 to 1983. Dr Kwong has over 35 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Transformation and Solution Implementation in Financial Services, Utilities and Technology Industries. He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of New South Wales (Australia) and Ph.D in Information Systems. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant (Australia). He was appointed the Non-Executive Director of Global InfoTech Co. Ltd., an associate company of Silverlake Axis Ltd on 7 August 2008. He was also appointed the Non-Executive Director of Finzsoft Solutions Limited, an associate company of Silverlake Axis Ltd on 20 April 2015. Finzsoft Solutions Limited is listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange and Global InfoTech Co. Ltd. is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. |

Mr Ramesh Narayanaswamy In his role as Group Chief Information and Operations, Mr Narayanaswamy oversees the Information, Technology and Operations functions of Group CIMB. He is responsible for strategy, solution and execution of all Technology projects and operationalizing the same. Through his leadership, he drives innovation and transformation in these areas to create better customer experience, scalable systems and manage operational and technological risks at an acceptable cost. Before joining CIMB, he was most recently the Group Chief Information Officer for Singapore Post limited and driving the technology agenda for transforming the company from a classic postal provider to an ecommerce and logistics company. Prior to that, he was also the Head of Technology solution delivery for Retail Banking in Standard Chartered across the group based in Kuala Lumpur and before that in Singapore and also worked for Citibank in the International cards division managing Projects and implementation across Latin America and Europe. Mr Narayanaswamy has over 21 years of technology and operations experience, with 16 years in banking and 5 years in ecommerce and logistics industry. Mr Mahawelage Bonniface Silva Mr Silva joined the Bank in 1987 and accounts for over 29 years of deep-rooted knowledge and experience in branch business banking. He currently is responsible for managing the Bank’s ‘industry leading’ branch network of 737 – spread through-out the country. In addition, he oversees all operational activities in branches and relating to its 500-plus supplementary network composed of ATMs, CDMs and Kiosks. Mr Silva’s experience encompasses managing branch business banking at all levels starting from Branch Manager, to Regional Manager, to Zonal Assistant General Manager to his current role of being Deputy General Manager – Channel Management. With extensive local and international training/exposure on the subject matter of his specialty, Mr Silva is a Degree Holder (B.A.) from the University of Peradeniya and has a professional banking qualification, AIB – Sri Lanka. Mr Priyantha Edirisinghe Mr Edirisinghe joined the Bank on 2nd February 2015 as the Head of Information Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Information Systems) and Master of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. Mr Edirisinghe has been in the field of IT for 20 years spanning various business sectors including, insurance, banking and telecommunication. Prior to joining People’s Bank, he has been attached to Citibank Ltd., Singapore as a Project Management Officer. Dr Tan Geok Leng Dr Tan is the founder and CEO of AIDA Technologies, a company specializing in AI Driven Analytics. Mr Ng Yoh Thai As MD of Group IT, Yoh Thai is responsible for all areas within IT, from IT strategy formulation to delivery of optimal technology services, to the Group. Under his leadership, Great Eastern completed the first phase of its IT Transformation journey; unifying customer and transaction data besides enhancing collaboration with external partners to better serve our customers' insurance needs. Leveraging on this foundation, GE is in the midst of extending and expanding its services in the digital ecosystem whilst enhancing its analytics capabilities. Yoh Thai was previously the Senior Vice President of OCBC Group. He is instrumental in the delivery of the Bank’s Strategic Mega IT Projects including Core Banking Standardisation Program for Singapore and Malaysia, Consolidation of Singapore and Malaysia Data Centres, New Corporate Internet Platform and Global Security Standard for Chip Card Technology (EMV). He had also successfully refreshed OCBC’s technology landscape with the introduction of key infrastructure components covering amongst others server, desktop and enterprise storage virtualisation, enterprise access and identity management, email content scanning and journaling and network access control. Mr Fabian Lum Mr Lum has 20 years of financial services experience that spans multiple areas including wealth management products, digital marketing, and core banking leadership roles. Since joining the Group in 2015, he has been responsible for driving digital financial services in insurance, banking and payments, and has led the business development of Silverlake Axis’ Software-as-a-Service Insurance ecosystem platform, winning new markets in South East and North Asia through a portfolio of international insurance companies. Mr Lum spent 18 years running multiple leadership roles in OCBC Bank Singapore, and started his career in marketing with Procter & Gamble. He has a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mass Communication from the National University of Singapore. |

Dr Lee Si-Chen Dr Si-Chen Lee was the President of National Taiwan University from 2005 to 2013. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University in 1974 and Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 1981 with a work consisting of experimental investigation of the AlGaAs/GaAs multi-heterojunction properties. From 1980 to 1982, he worked at Energy Conversion Devices Inc., Troy, Michigan, concerning the application of amorphous silicon hydrogen alloy to the solar cells. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University in 1982 as a visiting associate professor, and is a professor now. He served as the chairman of the Department from 1988 to 1992 and the Dean of academic affairs of National Taiwan University from 1996 to 2002. He served as the President, Association of National Universities of Taiwan from 2005 to 2010, President, the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering from 2009-2013, Director of National energy project of Taiwan from 2008 to 2012. Dr Lee is an IEEE Fellow, member of the Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering, he has received Dr Sun Yat-San Academic award in 1987, five consecutive outstanding research awards of National Science Council from 1986 to 1996. He has been elected as a member of The Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials (APAM) in 1997, and received IEEE Third Millennium Medal for outstanding achievements and contributions in the area of Semiconductor Devices in 2000. In 2002, he was awarded the Medal of Electrical Engineering from the Association of Chinese Electrical Engineer. He has received 47th Academic Award of Ministry of Education in 2003. |

Mr Goh Peng Ooi Mr Goh was appointed Group Executive Chairman on 23 May 2006. Prior to that, he was Non-Executive Chairman since 2002. Mr Goh has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Electronics Engineering from the University of Tokyo on the Monbusho scholarship. He began his career in IBM Malaysia and held several senior positions over his nine-year tenure, his last being Marketing Manager for Banking and Finance. In 1989 he founded the Silverlake group. Based on his foresight on the future of technology demands of the Banking industry, Silverlake has been established as a leading provider of state-of-the-art universal banking solutions. Today, the group is a multibillion-dollar organisation represented in 20 countries spanning from Japan to Australia, some of them listed in public exchanges, and has a staff force of approximately 3,000 worldwide. The business has since then also moved on to Fintech, Digital Banking, Cloud Computing and various other high-tech areas. The Silverlake group has over 300 customers located in about 50 countries across all continents. The group has earned many industry recognitions since its inception including the IBM Business Partner Excellence Award (2012), IBM ASEAN Golden Circle Award (2012), Forbes’ Best Under A Billion – Best of the Best (2013), The Asian Banker Vendor Satisfaction Survey Gold Award (2014), Forbes’ Best Under A Billion (2015). Mr Goh has twice won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Malaysia, an award recognising entrepreneurial excellence – first in 2005, under the Technology Entrepreneur category; and the second in 2014 in the Master Technology Entrepreneur category. The World Chinese Economic Summit in 2015 presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Information Technology to Mr Goh; and more recently at the 2017 ASEAN Business Awards, Mr Goh was conferred the prestigious Legacy Award. The Legacy Awards recognises ASEAN entrepreneurs that have created positive impact and inspiration within ASEAN communities. Aside from his professional achievements, Mr Goh is very much involved in academics – particularly in Science and Mathematics. He is particularly interested in the research of the Science of Intelligence and its application to Human Actions and Economy, and where possible enjoys giving talks in various schools of higher learning. He specialises in the application of Category Theory, leading to the formulation of a new Time-Space versus physics’ Space-Time, and with that clarity, built a high-tech enterprise based on that theory. Mr Goh is a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, a Fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), a Member of the ASM Science and Technology and Industry Linkage Committee, an Adviser of the ACCCIM Science, Technology and Innovations Committee as well as a Member of the Board of Governors of First City University College. Mr Goh currently holds directorships in a number of his private investment companies. He does not hold any directorships in other listed companies. |
